The Cleveland Indians are a Major League Baseball team, who are presently member of Central Division of the American League. Cleveland in Ohio State is home to Cleveland Indians. The Indians were known by different names “Cleveland Blues” till 1901, “Broncos or Bronchos in 1902 and “Naps” from 1903 to 1914. Finally “Cleveland Indians” was decided as the name of the team in 1915. The Indians recorded five consecutive division titles in 1990’s (1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, and 1999). Indians has remained American league champions for five times in 1920, 1948, 1954, 1995 and 1997.Though they reached till world championship twice after 1948 but couldn’t make it. Indians became one of the most money spinning team with a new stadium and trading the team players. To make 2006 season a prosperous season reliever Guillermo Mota, third base prospect Andy Marte, catching prospect Kelly Shoppach, outfielder Jason Michaels are drafted.
