All time texas rangers

1971 TEAM MOVED FROM AMERICAN LEAGUE WASHINGTON SENATORS
-- BACK --

The Texas Rangers are a Major League Baseball team, who are presently member of west division of American League. Arlington city in Texas State is home to the Rangers. The team was formed in 1961 as American League expansion. The Rangers were known as Washington Senators from 1961 to 1971, they are not those Washington Senators who became Minnesota Twins. Ameriquest Field in Arlington is the home ballpark for the Rangers. Charlie Hough is the all time king for the Rangers as Nolan Ryan is described as all- time strikeout in baseball list. Jon Daniels took the control the command of the team when he was promoted as General Manager of the team in 2005. At the age of 28, Daniel has become the youngest General Manager in the major’s history. With all their spirits a team of young players has already been compiled with outfielders Terrmel Sledge, brad Wilkerson, starter Vicente Padilla and pitcher Adam Eaton and Akinori Otsuka.
