The Florida Marlins are a Major League Baseball team; presently belong to the Eastern Division of the National League. The franchise is placed in Miami, Florida. The team was founded in 1993 as an expansion team of National League. Miami Gardens is the home stadium of Marlins. Within a ten years span of life, the Marlins have been extremely victorious on the field by winning two World Series in 1997 and 2003. Jack Mckeon, a vigilant manager led the Marlins three winning seasons in a streak. Presently the command is of the franchise is in the hands of Joe Gerardi, who is polishing bright stars such as Hanley Ramirez, Miguel Cabrera, Jeremy Hermida, Mike Jacobs, and the 2005 Cy Young runner up, the ever so talented Dontrelle Willis of the team.
In 2003 when the World Series was celebrating its 100th anniversary, the Marlins shocked everyone and themselves too by winning in all six games and defeated the AL Champion New York Yankees.
