1998 Arizona DiamondBacks

Arizona Diamondbacks are a Major League Baseball team, who presently belong to the West Division of the National League. Phoenix city in Arizona is home to the snakes. They are prevalently known as the D-Backs or the Snakes. D-backs played their first regular season in 1998 and recorded their unforgettable victory in the same year against Yankees. Arizona's first title is memorized as one of the supreme World Series of all time, as the snakes conquered the Yankees in seven games. This victory was a record for the longest captivating line by any expansion team in history. After the 1999 season team was known for its renowned players like Steve Finley, center fielder, who is Golden Glove award winner, Randy Johnson won the Cy Young Award. The name of the home ballpark of Diamondbacks was changed from Bank One Ballpark to Chase Field, after Bank One was acquired by J.P. Morgan Chase in 2005. The snakes have made an entry to season 2006 with a victory over white Sox by a score of 9-2 in their first game of the Cactus League season.
